Cybersecurity
Our comprehensive cybersecurity program integrates robust processes, technologies, and controls to protect against evolving threats in the healthcare and biopharma space. This approach helps safeguard our physical, informational, and financial assets and is critical to protecting our patients, healthcare professionals, and employees. A key strength of our cybersecurity strategy lies in the notion that security is everyone’s responsibility. We continuously work to foster a security-conscious culture where every team member actively participates in protecting the company’s intellectual property, customer data, and patient information.
How we do it
- We urge employees to keep confidential information safe and away from public view and to protect Insmed property, including smart devices and laptops, at all times.
- We deploy a mandatory cybersecurity training program for all employees, covering essential topics like the Insmed Global Privacy Policy, IT usage, data handling, phishing prevention, and security awareness.
- We evaluate our cybersecurity practices against the standards set by the Center for Internet Security, helping us identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- We alert our employees continually to evolving threats through our ongoing phishing campaign and cybersecurity notices posted on our intranet.
- We train employees on information security procedures, including locking devices, storing them appropriately, following password instructions and procedures closely, keeping business communications on company channels, and reporting suspicious emails or other electronic communications.
